Before coming away we had already decided to get matching Seahorse tattoos and during the trip to Surfers Paradise we finally had them done.

Whilst Hilary went to get some cash to pay, Rory took an opportunity to talk to the artist about his problem getting his v1000 logo done. After looking at the picture she came up with a suggested change to the image that would make it possible to do. I agreed to the suggestion and returned 2 days later to have it done.

With some help from another artist, who helped keep my leg as still as possible, over a 2 hour sitting she managed to produce a brilliant piece of work.

On the above pictures the small line next to the 2011, was the failed effort by a UK artist to do the job.
