After being stuck at home for several days, with the cyclone behind us we were once again able to get out and about. Naturally the first thing we did was some food shopping. Whilst at the shopping centre a very young girl in her pram said “Hello” to me. Although very shy, she gave me a smile and then we had a “race”, me in my power chair and she in her powered by mother pushchair. Although a “race” I let her win. How nice to have some normality.

After lunch we went off to Limestone park, the home of Ipswich QLD parkrun. Essentially this was a course reccy for me as we will be back again on Saturday.

Was very impressed with the large Course map sign at the start line – Would be great to get something like this in the UK.

The good news is that the course is “doable” although the camber in places is a bit steeper than I would like.
