This was supposed to be an activity for both of us as the Bridge Climb people had recently launched a wheelchair climb. However, due to lots of issues they are unable to go ahead with chair climbs just yet. We did get to see the special chair.
So this was something I had to do on my own.
I was part of a small climb group- grandparents and their two grandchildren.
Our climb leader was Jared, who got us all set for the climb and talked to us about the history of the bridge.
We had to wear jumpsuits and harnesses and be connected to a line while we climbed the steps to 80m.
Great views of Brisbane City and beyond.
When I sent a photo to my girls they thought I looked like a Ghostbuster! Haha
Something different to experience, just sorry Rory didn’t get his climb too.
