The International date line is a bit strange!

On Wednesday morning 21st of May at 10:00am we departed Australia to fly to Canada.

Flight time was just over 16.5 hours plus we had a 2 hour gap between flights.

On Wednesday morning 21st of May at 09:05am we arrived in Canada!

So we essentially arrived an hour before we left!
